Shinui

Shinui is the only political party in Israel recognised as Liberal by the world organization of Liberal Parties, the "Liberal International". Our political and social philosophy can be summed up in our belief that the rights of the individual are supreme, and that all legislation must be measured against that principle. Our policies on political, social, and economic issues place us firmly and genuinely in the center. We differ very substantially from the left in that we do not accept their Socialist policies. We also differ from the right in that we determine realistic policies based on the real world in which we live, and not based on populist policies designed to sound good and to win votes in elections. </BODY>
